In this episode, guest co-host Brad Page (I'm In Love With That Song podcast) and me discuss Yes's landmark album Close To The Edge, which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year!We discuss the intricacies of all three tracks, with their peaks, valleys, and idiosyncrasies and how Yes rallied to make this sonic, musical, and lyrical masterpiece.We also discuss the live recordings Yessongs and Progeny, and pay tribute to Yes drummer Alan White,, who recently passed away.  We talk about how Alan came into Yes right as the Close To The Edge tour began and would stay in the band for 50 years.  Truly a talented drummer who put his stamp on this iconic band. 

50 years ago, at the peak of their live performance heyday, Led Zeppelin recorded two sold out shows at the L.A.
